We also host and organize the Portland Maine Permaculture Meetup Group, which meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month (plus at other times as well). The Meetup Group sponsors lectures on important permaculture and sustainable living topics, visits members’ homes for design brainstorming and organizes work parties to implement permaculture elements on members’ properties. We also focus on sharing food and creating community while we learn, connect, skill up and get ready to power down.
